Assistant Professor of Musical Theater, Movement, and Dance
Maggie Anderson is an educator, AEA performer, director/choreographer, and currently an Assistant professor of Musical Theater and Head of Movement and Dance for the Theater Department at Temple University. Her creative focus is choreography for the musical theater stage. She has performed in numerous productions in NYC and regional theatres, tours, concert dance, and cabaret clubs across the country. Venues include: Walnut Street Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, Fulton Theatre, Trump Plaza, Galveston Grand Opera House, Gateway, NC Theatre, Forestburgh Playhouse, and Maples Repertory Theatre. TV credits include: "As the World Turns" and "Sex and the City", as well as commercials and independent films. She has taught at The College of NJ, Wagner College, Cap-21 NYC, Moravian College, and McCarter Theatre. Recent choreography and directing projects include: <em>Brigadoon, Oklahoma!, Hair, Chicago</em>, <em>Grease</em>, <em>The Jungle Book</em>, <em>A Chorus Line</em>, <em>Spring Awakening</em>, <em>Urinetown</em>, <em>West Side Story</em>, <em>Cinderella</em>, <em>Best Little Whorehouse in Texas</em>, and <em>The Boys From Syracuse</em>. MFA: CCM, BFA: Elon University. Maggie is also a certified yoga teacher and has a level one professor certification in the Margolis Method.
