Karim Muasher received his BFA in Acting from Ithaca College and his MFA in Lecoq Based Actor Created Theater from Naropa University at the London International School of Performing Arts. He is Co-Artistic Director of Animal Engine Theatre Company, a physical devised theatre company dedicated to creating strange worlds with a relatable touch; bold works of performance that are clever, quirky, sharp, and new. Other notable projects include working with puppet theatre company Drama of Works on “Go Ulysses!”, daredevil clown Bello Nock on “Bellomania,” and physical comedian Martin Gindick on “Wingman." He is the recipient of a Queens Council on the Arts grant, and a graduate of LMCC's Artists Summer Institute. Karim has taught theatre and theatre making from a movement perspective to elementary school students with Wingspan Arts, middle school students with Brooklyn College Community Partnership, high school students as part of Animal Engine's school touring program. He currently teaches public speaking to college students at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
