Biography:

Kim Jessor is an AmSAT certifed teacher of the Alexander Technique who has been teaching for over 30 years. She teaches Alexander in the Graduate Acting Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Kim has a private Alexander practice in NYC specializing in working with performing artists. She is a senior faculty member at the American Center for the Alexander Technique(ACAT)  and a former director of ACAT's Teacher Certification Progam. She is also certified in Body-Mind Centering from Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. Her teaching  is informed by a lifelong study of dance; including Cunningham Technique, Ballet,  and Afro- Caribbean, as well as  Yoga and Non-Violent Communication.
