Rebekah Lane is a director, puppeteer, and actor from Orlando, Florida. She devises theatre of moments that amplifies the electricity of the space between. Rebekah combines puppetry and audience interaction with physical improvisation for unique, visually stunning experiences. Prior to her time at Towson University, Rebekah made a living as puppeteer, performer, and public speaking instructor. Rebekah has devised theatre using Viewpoints methodology since 2004. Her studies at Towson University have added new devising languages to her practice including Tectonic Theatre's methodologies, Story Circle, and the improvisational technologies of William Forsythe. Rebekah's movement training includes ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, yoga, capoeira, Laban, east coast swing dance, modern, contact improvisation, and pilates.
