American Mime



“American Mime” is the Medium created by the Founder/Director Paul J. Curtis, The American Mime Theatre, 1952. American Mime is different from all other forms of Mime, including the French School of Pantomime, often associated with Marcel Marceau. American Mime is an art form, the unique Medium for silent actors who play symbolic activities in characterization and express the feelings and desires of their characters honesty through a kind of motivated movement we call form. It is the Medium of The American Mime Theatre, a Company and a School.
