Kevin Inouye is an Assistant Professor of Acting, Movement, and Stage Combat at the University of Wyoming, where he also directs for the main stage season. A Certified Teacher with the <a href="">Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD)</a>, and <a href="">National Michael Chekhov Association</a>, he is an award-winning fight choreographer and fight director of numerous plays, videos, and movies. He holds an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from the movement track at Virginia Commonwealth University. He brings to his work a strong philosophical and academic liberal arts approach to actor training, as well as previous academic studies in psychology, social change dynamics, and communication. Kevin is also a SAG-AFTRA actor and stuntman, and sole proprietor of <a href="">Fight Designer, LLC</a>, providing prop weapons rentals and related services. In addition to several journal articles and many conference presentations, Kevin's first book,<a href=""><em> the Theatrical Firearms Handbook,</em></a> was released in Spring of 2014 by Focal Press.
